How to Unbox & and Assemble Your New Kayana EPOS

In this article, we will explain how to unbox and get started with your new Kayana EPOS.

  1. Your New EPOS should come boxed and sealed; if the seal is broken, please take pictures and report immediately.
  2. Carefully cut the tape not to damage any of the property inside.
  3. Remove the cables and white box from the pockets of the foam
  4. Use your feet to hold the box firmly, and place your hands in the pockets to lift your EPOS out of the box
  5. Place EPOS on the surface and remove the foam on each side
  6. Remove the plastic cover on the EPOS
  7. Connect the power supply cable to the EPOS
  8. Connect your ethernet cable if using ethernet
  9. Connect the UBS Cable if you have a thermal printer
  10. Connect the USB cable if you have a barcode scanner
  11. Connect the power to the EPOS
  12. Switch on your EPOS by clicking the button underneath the main screen to the right of the logo
  13. Once the device is switched on, click the setting icon if you wish to connect via wifi
  14. click connect wifi
  15. select your network partner
  16. enter the password and save
  17. Connect your printer next by clicking the printer icon, which will have a cross on it
  18. if this does not work, click settings
  19. connections > connect printer
  20. click connect a USB printer
  21. select the printer, and you should see that the printer is connected to the symbol
  22. Connect your QR Code Scanner
  23. if you need to connect a card terminal, don't hesitate to contact your support channel to connect the card reader.
  24. If you want to increase font size on receipt you can do this on the setting page
  25. If you need to restart the application click update settings.
